A rally was organized on AIDS DAY, 1st December to create awareness among community people who are sleeping in the darkness of ignorance about AIDS. Leaflets were distributed among the community people to fight myths related to AIDS.

New Clothes were distributed among children of sex workers in ward no 1 of Budge Budge Municipality before Diwali.Mr Gautam Dasgupta, Vice- Chairman of Budge Budge Municipality and Counsillor of ward no 1, Mrs. Pampa Ghosh of Budge Budge Municipality graced the occasion with their presence. The deprived children were delighted to get new clothes before Diwali. The happiness and humanitarian relief gained through this distribution can be understood by the words of 11 year old boy studying in 5th class. He said,’’ I don’t have any new clothes, I am so happy that I will get to wear new dress this Diwali”

20 students went for ON JOB TRAINING in Future Group for 4 days to get an idea about Retail sector which is an important element of STeP curriculum. The students who succeeded in making a mark during their training period might get absorbed by Future Group.

BITAN youth groups celebrated National Youth Day today on the occasion of Vivekananda’s birthday in BITAN ,Budge Budge. On this occasion we tried to revive the philosophies and ideals of Vivekananda which still continues to inspire youths from generations.From drama, group song" Amra Korbo Joy...", yoga to recitation & dance, youths participated actively and lived the day with great enthusiasm and spirit remembering Vivekananda.
