Recognition of Prior Learning Training

Supported by :

Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ) and National Skill Development Corporations (NSDC)

BITANis an affiliated Training Partner of Skill Council for Green jobs. It has been authorised to carry out “Recognition of prior learning”- Training program (5 Days) of safaiKarmacharis at various Municipal Corporations and Municipality in West Bengal.
The project envisages: -

After completion of training programme, all successful participants will receive a certificate from Skill Council for Green Jobs
Rs. 500 pay out to the certified candidate directly by NSDC.
3 years accidental insurance of Rs. 2 Lakh to the Certified Candidates - Premium will be paid by NSDC

This certificate is valid in sixty other countries including India and will help them to prove their efficiency in getting jobs related to cleanliness programme. More importantly the Safaikarmcharis will be trained and the Municipality will be benefited from the skilled manpower for improved sanitation services for common citizen.
The Components of 5 Days Training Program are:

Day 1	Job Responsibility of SafaiKaramchari Methodology for Cleaning of Public Areas & Toilets. Cleaning of Washrooms.
Day 2	Cleaning of Buildings with Mechanized equipment’s. (Theory & Practical)
Day 3	Practical on mechanized cleaning. Information about Manual Scavenging Act, 2013 / 2016. Mechanized and Safe Cleaning of Sewer and Septic Tanks
Day 4	Progression in Activities and scope of additional income. Healthy Family Life.
Day 5	Maintaining Personal Health and Safety while Cleaning Digital Literacy Communication Skills. Revision and Q&A. Assessment of Candidates.
